Rick Warren’s video that supposedly didn’t exist

Joseph Farah:

He also told me he did not tape anything while in Syria, ”because it was a courtesy call, like I do in every country.”

Oh really? So what is this video footage about halfway through your 3 country trip which shows you talking to leaders in Syria? You told Joseph Farah you did not take any video because it was a “courtesy call?” The Syria part starts around 6:43.

Rick Warren: We took about 16 hours of video and narrowed it down to 3 minutes…

Rick Warren:”if you are a person of faith, you can pray…”

Rick Warren, in this behind the scenes video from the “ONE” commercial, tells people how they can help with the AIDS problem. “If you are a person of faith, you can pray” was one of the things he mentioned. Now, this sounds all nice and biblical, but why didn’t he just ask Christians to prayer instead of “person of faith?” Now, one would automatically assume that Mr. Warren, a pastor, would never ask those who believe in false religions to pray, but why the vague phrase “person of faith?” A search of Google easily shows that the phrases “person of faith” and “people of faith” refer to a religious person, not just Christian.

So again, why the vague phrase Mr. Warren?

Rick Warren brags about being Rupert Murdoch’s pastor

Rick Warren, do you really want to brag about being Rupert Murdoch’s pastor

From the AgapePress article about pornography:

Welcome to synergy: Murdoch also owns HarperCollins, which published pornography star Jenna Jameson’s best-selling book “How To Make Love Like A Porn Star.”

It seems Mr. Warren needs to talk to Mr. Murdoch about his pornography business.

Rick Warren “interested in helping all houses of worship, not in converting Jews”

The other secret to his success is his passion for God and Jesus. Warren managed to speak for the entire evening without once mentioning Jesus — a testament to his savvy message-tailoring. But make no mistake, the driving purpose of an evangelical church is to evangelize, and it is Warren’s devotion to spreading the words of the Christian Bible that drive his ministry.

Good for him and his flock — and not so bad for us either. His teachings apply to 95 percent of all people, regardless of religious belief. As he put it to a group of rabbis at a conference last year — using a metaphor that might be described as a Paulian slip: “Eat the fish and throw away the bones.”

Mr. Warren, in the case of the rabbis, is the bones they will spit out be the fulfillment of prophecy in the birth, live, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Warren told Wolfson his interest is in helping all houses of worship, not in converting Jews. He said there are more than enough Christian souls to deal with for starters.

Mr. Warren, does this mean you will help Mormons, Roman Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists, Christian Scientists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, wiccans and even muslims – all false religions – because after all they are “houses of worship?”

Rick Warrens help unbelievers build their communities

Some notes from the advice that Warren gave to the unbelievers to help them build their “congregations”:

  • If someone has 6-8 close friends in the congregation, they will “stick.”
  • Warrens own words:”They must get the relational element.” About 2/3 through the above link.
  • So you want Christ-denying, unbelieving Jews to get a relational element so they can stay in a Christ-denying religion? Lord, please open this man’s eyes.
